Goats Milk Esbilac This is a New Replacement Formula Put out by Esbilac/PetAg Company and is wonderful to have on hand for breeders in case they have to Hand Raise a baby Hedgehog. Now WE DO NOT SUGGESTION that you take baby hedgehogs from their mothers to hand raise. THIS DOES NOT MAKE THEM A BETTER PET as there is only about a 20% chance that you will be able to hand raise that baby to an adult. Mother Hedgehogs are the BEST for raising their babies. A good breeder will begin handing the litter as soon as possible. In more cases this is when the litter is 2 weeks old. HOWEVER this should ONLY be done by an experienced breeder as Mother Hedgehogs get upset very easily and will kill her babies if she is at all stressed or feels they are in danger.
